Orange 5 when reading the eprom Xicor X24C01 deleted the data. Why this happened is unclear to me. Tell me who had this or not?

The reading of the eprom was performed by soldering it from the immobilizer board and soldered onto the reading board.
 
X24C01 can't be accidentally erased, unless deliberate command to Erase/Write is given, or inappropriate chip is selected (i.e. not Xicor X24C01 exactly).
