Please help reading ews 3 from e36 compaq

hello, Iwant to swap ews of a e36 compaq which the client bought a new one from bmw.

original has 0d46j and is ews3 but with old plug. I already did read it, no problem there.

the new one is 0m07z and I can not read it or write it. which adapter should I use? I believe it is mc68hc711 but not sure.

Iswapped chips because they look identical but not star. maght be bad soldering but I am not sure.

if its ews 4 you will need to learn it with Dealer tool or send it to dealer , u cannot flash ews 3 to ews 4

If EWS is from dealer plug in and sync DME/EWS car will start, nearly all scanners have this ability (launch, snap-on,maxidas ect.ect.)

Also if swapped chips they must be same EWS as EWS3 - EWS3 use different MCU.

If soldering is ok just do alignment with the box and it will start.
