95160 write protect

If my memory serves me well - For Software Write Protection you need to WRITE STATUS BL0 & BL1, Then Hardware Write Protection you need to lift Pin 3 from circuit and connect to pin 4.

Write Protect it's just Status register stored data.
There are buttons "Read Status" & "Write Status".
In some cases target unit can reject work with the EEprom if the last stored "Status register" doesn't match.
In 99.99% mcu R/W the status while working with the EEprom, hence no matter what you wrote to the EEprom, it will be re-written.
