just a side question
Toyota seemed to lean towards more and more to using NXP Hitag now while still using Texas Instrument DST. Does that create more pressure for the team to deal with due to 2 kinds of chips and will slow down the work process instead of having to deal with only Ti-DST like before?
I feel that Toyota is now start using NXP chip due to a lower cost over TI. Those NXP chips on Honda do not last as long as TI chips on Toyota remote head keys and smart keys. Not sure which one is "harder to crack".

Well only future will tell what they will do. From our observations it seems more like HITAG systems are backup variants in case of supply chain issues or specific requirements at certain markets.
With that said this doesn't really worry us since SLK-08 release, as it has the hardware for newer systems and we can update it with new instructions when needed.

Hello,

I have a Tango running on 1.130.0 and it is prompting me for the update to 1.131.2 and will not execute. It launches the installer but never does the update. The 30 day counter is also out of sync and will not update the thirty day without the update.

Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

Chris

Hello,
Open this folder C:\Scorpio-LK\Tango\Temp, most likely you will find the newly downloaded Tango.exe there.
You can just move it to C:\Scorpio-LK\Tango.
If that's the case then you are missing the required libraries, which are part of the latest Tango setup file, so you can use it to reinstall the software :

Admin,

Is this how LKP-06 should be or fake transponder?
They are all over the place, $30USD for 10 pieces.
I cannot seem to clone things using these chip. Genuine LKP-04 already cost around $7USD.

To test the transponders you have acquired you can format them in here :

As for clonning and other functions, the only released officially supported function for these transponders in current Tango software is clonning Toyota P1 A8/88. LKP-06 can be found in other parts of the software but such are not announced and not officially supported yet.
